Originally from French Polynesia, Moana, manager of AQUA DIVING and SSI instructor, grew up in the waters of Bora-Bora, with parents who were diving instructors, learning to dive even before they knew how to run! A French government graduate, Moana has spent over 7 years teaching in the Mediterranean, Reunion, Mayotte and French Polynesia. Now in charge of our AQUA DIVING water sports centre, Moana is your personal contact for organising your diving week and excursions.

Simone is a true challenger, having started her diving career in the lakes of Austria, a feat that few can claim! After obtaining her certificate, she sought out the most demanding conditions by working in the field of technical cave diving. This led her to teach for six years in the underwater caves of Spain. Today, she has moved to Nosy Be with us. With her humour, Austrian calm and multilingual skills (Spanish, Italian, French, English, German), Simone makes sure your dives are both safe and fun.

Meet Idirisa, our Madagascar-born PADI Divemaster and local guide. He has explored the waters of Nosy Be and the Mitsio Islands. A veritable underwater encyclopaedia, he can spot leaf fish, frog fish and nudibranchs that are often invisible to the untrained eye.

Meet Captain Ismaël, a master of the helm. On board his small boat, Tsaradia, he will take you twice a day to our private beach near the hotel. There you can find the peace and quiet to relax or explore the underwater world.

Razafi, our dedicated warehouseman, is a hard-working member of the team who tirelessly ensures that your equipment is ready every morning, with the help of his faithful sidekick, Dacquin. But his dedication doesn’t stop there; he’s also our guardian, keeping everything safe. Thanks to Razafi, your equipment is always clean, organised and fully equipped, seven days a week.

Meet Francesco, our master fisherman. The son of one of Nosy Be’s greatest fishermen, he grew up immersed in this environment. Without sonar or a chart, he can tell you the exact depth of any fishing spot to within a few centimetres. Of course, our boats are equipped with all the necessary equipment (sonar, charts) to follow him.
